Italian police in Germany capture 'Ndrangheta fugitive Feb 19th 2013, 22:23 ANSA) – Catanzaro, February 19 -  Italian police in Germany say they arrested a main member of the Ndrangheta mafia  Davide Sestito, accused of murder and mafia association and at large since 2011.  Police believe he is a  feared  figure in the ’Ndrangheta  Procopio-Tripodi’ who is wanted for allegedly whacking out the brother of a murdered mafia rival and his wife    In a close call, Sestito escaped being caught during 2011 roundups dubbed Operation Showdown when 40  members of  the mafia in Calabria  were captured   In December, Police discovered he was in Spain and was planning a trip with his wife.
