The best of Hollywood came out tonight for the 85th Academy Awards.
This year, like every year, sees the best of the industry being honoured with the gold statuette.
Seth MacFarlane was arguably a “risky” choice as host. With an opening song, called “We Saw Your Boobs,” the “Family Guy” creator did not disappoint.
Anne Hathaway won the supporting-actress prize for her teary, show-stopping performance in “Les Miserables” at Sunday’s Academy Awards. She had been widely predicted to win the award in a tough category where Sally Field, Helen Hunt, Amy Adams and Jacki Weaver were also nominated.
“It came true,” Hathaway said as she accepted the award.
Jennifer Lawrence took home the Oscar for Best Actress.
"You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell. This is nuts!" Lawrence said about the standing ovation she received after she tripped on her way up onto the stage in a voluminous Dior Couture gown.
