65 people tied to Calabrian mafia arrested in Melito di Porto Salvo Feb 13th 2013, 19:29 ANSA) – Reggio Calabria, February 12 – Italian Police say they arrested 65 people in the southern region of Calabria considered  criminal agents of the ’Ndrangheta or Calabrian mafia accused of drug and weapons-related crimes The accused are suspected members of the Iamonte clan, which investigators say controlled all economic activity in and around the seaside town of Melito di Porto Salvo on the toe of Italy’s ‘boot’.
